Be sure to post your results. If you need something to compare your results to, there's a couple of freebies available on the net: one is at NSTL's site and the other is an Australian company called Survive-2000 (or something like that). The Australian module is more comprehensive than the NSTL version, but both are really only testing the BIOS and the chip set. I use FirstAid98 for product updates. I think I'm pretty current though. My BIOS is okay, but my chip set isn't. Shouldn't be a problem unless I'm involved in a date/time critical operation exactly at 12:00:01am on 01/01/2000. I think all I have to do is reset my clock before using any applications. I may also have some problems with some of the Office products that came with Win95, but since I don't use them, I'm not particularly worried about it. Also have to check with individual vendors regarding their specific applications. Patch or no patch situation.
