This points out the anti-synergetic dynamic in these deals. The ladder just got shorter and the competition just doubled for the managers under Nettles and Birck. A lot of energy's going to go into jostling for position on that ladder and less on getting new products out the door. If this Ciena shareholder is correct, TLAB's management is screwed. Real good for moral. Nice reward for one of the best managed companies in the country.
