OE's "strength" was more from a lack of volume.
DOW is irrelevant. OE moves to it's own drummer, generally only responding to certain outside influences - and the market isn't one of them. These include items such as:
1. competitive technology or competitor news 2. currency valuations 3. economic problems in OE's markets 4. OE news 5. emissions issues news
OE does not react to any exchange indexes, and the days of 100 point Dow movements being significant are long gone. I always frown when people get excited about Dow point movements. Who cares about 100 points, look at the percentage - it's tiny! Anything less than 3% movement is insignificant. Asian markets move that much virtually every day, often moving in multiples of that!
I feel a lot more positive about about your posts tonight than I did from anticipation of photographs. Don't get me wrong, photographs are great, but they just don't represent revenue. As an example, you can find photographs all over about BAAT, AENG, and Moller. But have we seen them generate any revenue?
I just don't react to every little "positive" thing as I once did. OE's strung me out too many times like a good old fashioned "boy who cried wolf" fairy tale. I do anticipate an announcement any day, preferably from a heavy hitter auto maker. I like mine out of a frosty mug, but I agree it must be COLD! However, I won't complain if you hand me a long neck. |
