I agree that MACR and ADBE seem to have completely different cultures and would never integrate well. I think they would be competing for years even after one product was chosen over another.

Here's a new rumor in the grapevine. Now that Macromedia is worth something, what about MCRE and MACR. MCRE is currently trading cheap and the products don't compete directly. MCRE is great in 3D and recently signed up their streaming technology with MSFT. I wonder how that will compete with the open Flash standard if at all. My understanding is that MCRE's stuff needs DataX controls and Flash is more independent.

Thoughts?
