Ilya,
NOT on holiday, trust me <g>. I have had major computer hardware and software problems for the past few weeks, haven't traded a bit and I miss it very much.
Today, Cyber's technicians were on the phone with me quite a bit and resolved all my problems. What a day!! Those guys are the best I've seen ever. I wish they would relocate one of them to New Orleans.
Seriously, though, I heard from Mark Stryker at Cyber that their new version, CyberTrader 1.6 is expected to be shipped on CD within the next week, also that the T-1's for connecting directly via GTE/BBN private network (avoiding internet problems) should be available next week, as well.
With those two major developments, and other good things happening, I am extremely optimistic. I will probably start trading again in a few days, and after everything is done next week, things should be very nice again.
Also, I heard the deal with Pristine is definitely off. It was just a possible business deal that was somehow leaked prematurely. Shouldn't have been mentioned at all. There was never any real substance to it, unfortunately. But that happens all the time in business.
If I told you about all the hardware and problems I have been struggling with for the past few weeks, you would know I haven't had a holiday lately <g>. Just give me two or three good trading days and I'll be just fine.
But this thread sure is getting boring. Who wants to start another controversy? Anyone? Anyone??
