Thanks kindly for the news. This is wild stuff. IMO there is now a chance the proposal could actually fail.

Ashame that Dow Jones doesn't bother to get the poor bastard's spelling right --- its Ryback.

If the proposal fails, I wonder what Harken does with respect to the shares into which their latest convertible bond issue are convertible. There are not presently enough authorized shares to allow for the conversion of those bonds.

Should be an interesting meeting --- hopefully SI can get represented there by someone within driving distance of Irving.

Too bad there's no efficient way we can do a straw pole here at SI on the authorized stock issue, expressed in number of shares.
