Thanks for the info. But I'm not sure you can deduce anything out of Goldman Sachs' observation of K6 regarding AMD's implementation of MMX since I don't believe there are any software taking advantage of the new instruction sets. Does anyone know the penalty K6 incurs in switching between floating point op and MMX op??
