The scheme (if any) to me is a bit confusing. Mason, the crux of the "channel stuffing" "dilemmma"/cover-up (according to hpeace-(don't hit me!)). It seems now he times the news about a possible losing quarter, butted up against ftc approval of DEC to soften the blow? possible-maybe.

Possible scenario #2:
>>One is short Compaq and the other doesn't have a position in the stock<< A short tale to cover before the storm.??
