bcw, the manipulated move to $38 was cemented when the mental midgets fell hook line and sinker for the "we believe korea is almost out of inventory" scam by the boise banditos. of course, they were wrong and admitted in their 10k they didn't have a clue about korean inventories. duh!!!! details, details, details ;-)
mu management is as phony as a $3 bill. wouldn't surprise me if the longs brag about a new $3 bill as a dividend.
at some point, though, the boise bandits will have cried wolf once too many times and they will have the credibility worthy of their morality scale number - in other words, zero ;-)
i own oct 25 puts i bought rather late (high $27s) in the last run up (thanks niles, you win for idiot of the 1998 replacing kurlak for 1997 ;-). this q will show about $300-$500 mil in negatve cash flow. next q will be similar. in about 6 months the question will be where mu gets money and whether they will ever be able to afford the interest on their debt (they should stop paying interest soon, if they haven't already - they aren't required to pay anything until maturity), let alone the principle. their debt rating s/b drastically reduced.
lots of bad news and a long history of wrong answers. people are dumb in manic markets. they are greedy and want to believe. however, they will wise up. especially when they see no cash to spend ;-)
absurd run ups on comments from moral zeros will stop happening. i think we go lower as we did from $38 in sept.
but we shall see and i made sure i have time. if we bounce then i reload on more puts at higher strikes and lower prices.
the end is sealed. the road isn't.
