I seem to remember AMAT hitting bottom shortly after I bought in July 1996 and it was just after announcing cuts in staff. They recently made a similar announcement...... Trading under $30! Where will people buy 300mm equipment, from Amazon.com or K-Tel? More at suite101.com Intel and HWP have severe cost controls in effect..... Both look very attractive for purchase.... IMHO, both are oversold. Most are just waiting for Kurlac to declare himself the winner and issue a buy on Intel...
