WJH, A person who is interested in gold is derisively called a "gold bug." Is there a designation or title for a person who despises gold? There already exists a derisive term that could be "extended" for this purpose: Paper Tiger - One that is seemingly dangerous and powerful but is in fact timid and weak. In the proposed context, the term would mainly apply to a lover of fiat currencies, but could also apply, to a lesser extent, to debt with insufficient collateral, equities without any apparent assets, paper gold instruments not fully backed with physical gold, etc.
