Adam: no worries! You know, when I bought this stock I assumed that
earnings would be far lower than estimated, only because there had been such a ramp up in such a short time and because I am a very
conservative investor and would only buy if a worser-case scenario
still had the company looking attractive. IDTI with earnings of $1/
share over a year would still be an attractive purchase, and its
new products make this stock appear to be a real grower. The precise
earnings are probably not important compared to the company's potential. As soon as the company starts making product with its new
oregon fab, it can begin depreciating the capitalized amount and its
earnings will begin to look even better. Also, everyone can see that this company moves with all the other semi's: if you believe this company does not warrant being lumped in with everyone else then it appears that IDTI is a real bargain. We should see some spread as earnings come out over successive quarters.
