I've searched their web page epa.gov for DF-144, Midland, Arcon..., but wasn't able to get anywhere.

Unfortunately haven't had a chance to call them, I can just imagine the "please hold while we transfer you to the right department" I would hear on the first call. Just the thought of it.

Better yet, I'll try the local SCAQMD (South Coast Air Quality Management District) office to see if they have any resources in researching this kind of information within the EPA. The SCAQMD office is within 5 miles, and not out of the way, so I guess I'll make time to dig a little. If I get anywhere, I'll post it.

FWIW I received a letter/e-mails from the manager of the California Air Resource Board regarding the DF-144 octane rating, after I forwarded one of the Arcon news release to the SCAQMD...they responded by stating they were not aware of any composition that would produce such a high octane number consistently. I've misplaced the letter within a pile of other papers but the letter, IMO, is negated by the SGS data that I was able to verity.

Hope things are going well out there.

Enjoy,

vipul
