OTOTOT rudedog, My cable co. Comcast uses @Home as their service provider. @Home uses a combination of regional data centers and local caching servers which protects bandwidth levels. They also limit the number of customers per node to maintain a high level of service. Good for downloading web pages but a non-starter for hosting them. No way to do two-way high speed communication. Does not support remote networking, PPTP, or a host of other technologies with real ROI to business users. Looks like they provide the services you mention here --- home.net They can't possibly get there from here. There's a study which says in 2002 there will be 4+ million on cable and 400+ thousand on xDSL. Regards, Caisson
