INTC, CPQ and NOKA: nope on all three. To my lasting regret I finally gave up on NOKA in mid-Feb. I had been bullish on NOKA since July of 1997, but with the market downtrending the latter part of last year, staying long NOKA was like trying to ride a difficult horse. I finally got bucked off, only to see the horse run like the wind away from me. *sigh* :-).

Hey I caught the downdraft after MSFT reported too. Had puts on the SPX and the MSH. You have any ideas on how techs will do in the next 30 days or so? Typically we get all the bad news/earnings warnings out of the way, then there is a time where the companies with solid earnings just start reporting. Asia remains the wild card. I think that those companies which were affected by Asia in Q1 will see a repeat of the same in Q2. What isn't clear to me is if the contagion of weak Asia results will spread to more companies; ie the ones that made it thru ok in Q1. Thoughts?
