Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. and DHEC Agree For Re-Start of Charleston Plant
CHARLESTON, S.C., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Oasis Environmental Inc today announced that it had resolved all outstanding issues related to the start-up, initial testing and the ultimate permitting of its Charleston waste oil processing facility with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC). This consent order, which was filed Nov. 19, 1996 under the South Carolina Administrative Law Judge Division and was dismissed without prejudice, enables Green Oasis to bring its unit on line as soon as possible so as to demonstrate both its technological process as well as its ability to comply with environmental standards.
William D. Carraway, president, stated that, "This not only clears for the re-start of our Charleston waste oil processing facility, but it will also enable our pending customers to complete their due diligence by viewing the technology in the continuous operational basis required in order to firm up their orders by making the necessary down payments. In addition, this also will initially enable the creation of 30 new jobs to manufacture the nine units the Company intends to deliver in 1997.
Green Oasis Environmental, Inc.'s patent pending process produces synthetic fuels from waste motor oil in a closed cycle, one-step process. The Company manufactures equipment for its own facility as well as markets it to others. SOURCE Green Oasis Environmental, Inc. |
