David, Here is what I would do. Get a good dual band (C, Ku) LNC (Low Noise Converter) and a dual band receiver. I assume that the dish is on a polar mount and is able to sweep the Clarke Belt. There are still plenty of open feeds on C band worth looking at and everything new is going Ku. You use your TV or converter box to decode the digital. Happy cherry picking.
