Sirios Resources : Sept-Iles : 321 Claims Staked in Seven
Groups

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--SIRIOS RESOURCES INC. ("SIRIOS") confirms that
it staked 321 claims, covering an area of approximately 51 square
kilometers, comprised of seven separate strategic blocks, east and
north-east of the copper-nickel-cobalt discovery made near Sept-
Iles by the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources ("QMNR"). Two
claims groups totalling 82 claims were staked inside the area
opened for staking on October 9, 1996 by the QMNR.

The claims have been staked in a geological setting which is
similar to the QMNR discovery, along anorthosite-gabbro contacts.
All the claims staked are wholly owned by SIRIOS and are free of
any royalties as previously reported.

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of SIRIOS will be held
at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, Montreal, on Thursday December 5,
1996.

SIRIOS is a company, specializing in base and precious metal
exploration. 5,682,998 common shares of SIRIOS are issued and
outstanding. Common Shares and warrants of SIRIOS are listed for
trading on the Montreal Exchange under SOI and SOI.wt.

the other active co.s announce their claims in this area do you think
that there will be a substantial amount of staking still left to do
in the spring?

or is a lot of drill testing required to prove value?
