I agree that there is a symbiotic relationship, (perhaps parasitic is a better word), and I think most companies are aware of the general conflicts of interest. Stating that SAP is their preferred supplier is fine especially if they're up front with it, and owning stock in these suppliers is a good investment. But when an integrator becomes a source of venture capital and is a 10% holder post IPO that is such a glaring conflict of interest that it should be disclosed. I think if AC disclosed it they would have the upside benefit of getting almost all the Siebel engagements, with the downside of not getting any of the other CIS vendors engagements. As long as Sebl dominates, AC does fine. If Sebl loses their dominance in the future, then AC should rightly go down with the ship.
