See Bloomberg Online for good discussion of TLabs purchase of Cienna and Alcatel purchase of DSC - Apparently, Tlabs and Alcatel want to be major competitors with LU and NT. Purchase of Cienna puts the pressure on Cisco because they do not have dense wavelength multiplex product and LU and TLabs do. Perhaps, Alcatel or TLabs will be purchasers of Bay. Ken
