Bill,
I am starting to see a potentially ugly scenario. The charts have been pretty sloppy and we all know about the divergences that aren't supporting a strong rally. The volume has been fairly slow...people still want to be in stocks and don't seem to be selling. Now here's my take:We could see a rally very soon but I think it will be a "failed rally".We have been grinding slowly downwards with an absence of buyers. So if we rally and the volume and duration don't confirm, along with all the averages...I will bet big on puts. The way the market is acting lately,I don't think a short term bear market is out of the question...heck it's been acting that way lately. But the key will be in the next rally.Without sellers and buyers it's not much fun!<G>For the record I am now much more bearish than bullish.Of course we can change our minds!FWIW
Regards,
Barbara
