Boeing and Radcom Ltd. to Collaborate in Producing High-speed Protocol Analyzers SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 4, 1998--The Boeing Company [NYSE:BA - news] and RADCOM Ltd., a leading provider of internetwork testing equipment, announced today their intention to collaborate in offering a new family of high-performance protocol analyzers. These new products, which use advanced technology components from both companies, will initially target Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) analysis at 622 Mbps and beyond.
Under terms of an agreement to be finalized over the next few weeks, Boeing will enhance a new protocol analyzer, the AS4950 which was introduced earlier this year. The AS4950 is the first ''adaptive'' network analyzer to support multi-technology and multi-protocol applications on a single board. Boeing will integrate key RADCOM components into the AS4950, and RADCOM will assume sales and marketing responsibility for the product. The first integrated product is slated for shipment in September, 1998.
