rhet0ic, Doesn't the slower chip rate mean that the design and manufacture of any new w-cdma/cdmaone phone will be cheaper (i.e. fewer parts)? And, if this is the case, wouldn't it follow that the design and manufacture of a w-cdma/gsm phone is also significantly reduced? Although degrading the Seinfeld playback frame rate, why isn't this a good situation for all concerned parties? Thanx for any and all help here. As is obvious, I'm a techno dullite. nf
