IOMG earnings estimates copied from AOL boards,
Most of these guys are well respected for their posts and comments. Most also do their own research and have posted their methodology, calculations and assumptions on how they derived their estimates. There is no assurance any of these is right or that one is more systematically a better approach than the others. The commonality is the revenues since the feeling is we know whats selling and at what price. The expenses are harder to estimate becasue of the new ads, the ramp up, interest exp, underwriters fees, etc. enjoy, chester...

NOTES & COMMENTS >NEW ADDS: Three new Fools went out on the limb this week, beginning with SIMUL8R who calls for 21 cents in earnings and $190 million in revenues...Ever-bullish BLBREW expects $224 million in revenues, with per share earnings beating street estimates <<<by whatever IO decides is right amount to generate steady growth rate.>>> RStanhouse chimes in with his bullish $209 million in revs, and an eps number (.22) that cleanly doubles H&Q's.
>Is it just me, or do we seem to be developing a consensus, at least on the revenue side of the question? Most of the revenue estimates are falling within $10m of the $200million mark. Fool eps estimates are running in a wider range, beginning with MF Ben's .14, and ending with Sam L 11's .23. H&Q's so-called lowball brings up the rear with .11...
>I STILL do not have the latest 1Q estimates from Emerald. If Emerald has actually made an official guess, someone please let me know by email...
>Again, there are no estimates on my list from Iomega Bears, making me think the above averages might skew bullish. (But hey, what do I know?) So, any bears willing to take up the challenge? Well? Come on, you scared or something? And what of the lamentable Mr. Knie, who last I remember was calling for IO to drop to $18 (pre-split)...does he have a guess for 1Q-96, or has he died of embarrassment? Kidding aside, bearish numbers ought to be on the chart with the rest. If anyone knows of any published street estimate, pessimistic or otherwise, please let me know via email. The more complete our information is, the better for all.
>100% accuracy in these numbers is by no means guaranteed, as some settling of the contents may have occurred during the upload. If I have misstated your estimates, please correct me via email.
Keep those numbers coming...
