I will have to support the claim that DVD quality is inconsistent...
for example, last week I bought 2 DVDs...

#1.. Austin Powers... great quality, no probs at all.. sounds and looks great
#2... LiarLiar... poor quality... lots of glitches, ie, kinda like a scratched CD would be, only that the movie "stutters" too... I am taking this one back today...

and more importantly... I am running this off a Creaive PC DVD Encore kit, which definitely uses CUBE since I peeled off the Creative stickers....

and I am using an ultra slow 90MHz Pentium... yet, it seems to handle the task just fine....
