I would just say: "Hey, I'm KZAP. I'm interested in investing in your company. Tell me what's going on." Ask about the outstanding shares, amount in the float, ect. Anything that would help you understand more about the company. Even if you ask for inside info. it's ok, they don't have to answer. Sometimes they will give you a 'extra'. If you have questions about MDMI just call Jeff Brommer. He's a good guy and will help you out a bunch.
