Our new stores continue to produce strong initial results in line with the average first year sales trend of $1 million achieved in both 1996 and 1997. Our relocations and expansions to the larger format continue to exceed expectations and our newly relocated Roosevelt Field store is expected to be our first $3 million store. During June we will open our 300th store and expect to open a total of 20 new stores during the quarter. I'm also pleased to announce that we opened 5 new d.e.m.o. stores during the month of May.'' Sales for the first 17 weeks of fiscal 1998 were $81.2 million, an increase of 55 percent over sales of $52.3 million for the same period of fiscal 1997.
