In my opinion, all this talk about real time video and audio via the Internet reminds me that most of us already own a well debugged version: Its called TV! It doesn't matter how fast your servers are if the damn internet is all clogged up. It's like having a Ferrari tied up on a L.A. freeway. All the "real time video over the Internet" I see Comdex are just novelties. Apple has a VDO demo running at an embaressingly low frame rate all because the link to a west coast server is slow! VRML and Java are interesting though since their data content are compact and processed at the client.
