Is there a business reason? Hard to tell isn't it. If one examined co. PR, one could conclude that VOCLF hasn't sold a thing in months. Certainly, the management should not manage stock prices but business. However, part of the ethical responsibility is to keep owners (shareholders) informed. FWIW, I am holding on the assumption that VOCLF business is good. I also hold other equities that post important sales/contracts/alliances as they occur, so I know this is not an unreasonable suggestion. Since VOCLF has not done this, one can conclude one of two things (1) There is nothing good to report, or (2) There are sales/contracts/alliances to report, but the company is not doing it because (a)they don't know enough, or (b) they don't care enough. As you can see, I am giving the company and it's business every benefit of the doubt, which leads me to conclusion 2.b above.
