DaiS: I think it depends on whether the shorts will cover at the same time. In several previous cases, when there were good news out, that drove a lot of shorts to cover in a very short period of time, so you see a big price jump. Look at today's action, they only covered gradually because there were no news and the price went down a lot, so you never see a big jump in the price. Even if before the closing, you haven't seen a price jump like yesterday. This indicates a lot of shorts already covered, if not the most.

Of course, in case there is some real unexpected good news, the remaining shorts and momentum players can still run up the price to 10, or maybe even 15, this is a very volatile stock, just IMO.
