I know that dual and more boot systems exist and are used. My point is they are not widely used. A vast vast vast majority (>90%) of people don't want to tolerate the hassle, time, and inconvenience of using two OSes on the same machine.

This does not actually apply to emulation, since that doesn't have to involve a full machine boot process.

Anyway, the point of the argument is the people pick the OS they want to use most often and go with it, even if the solution is not perfect.
