What % of the outstanding float does SFE have of each of its
holdings ?

The NAV approach to determining intrinsic value is OK, but if SFE owns a major % of the float for each stock, then the NAV should be discounted significantly for lack of liquidity.

In a weakening tech market, I would be very concerned about relying on NAV as my value guide.

Certainly the company has had great success to date, but I wouldn't count on an equally positive tech environment going forward. If anything, I would be very tempted to take my profits as the summer is looking pretty grim for techs and tech ipo's.

Anybody know the details on % of outstanding float in holdings ?

Rick.
