Clint -- the last thing that I intended to do was to offend you

I respect your skills as a trader too much to do that

Not sure what gave you the impression that I had categorized you as "just a short term trader". If you read my post carefully what I did say was that Dwight had identified two skilled traders and then proceeded to name several traders who I felt were very good. I then stated their time frames ranged from very very short term to medium term--and that one should recognize the style of trading for each individual in deciding who to follow. As a matter of fact, the individuals that I had in mind as "very very short term" traders were Patrick and Nemer who I suspect (and hope) would not argue that they fit that mould--at least based on what they post.

>>I consider my market observations, trading skills/disciplines, the knowledge of technology(since I have worked in the field for 14 yrs) and tech stocks much more deserving than just a short-term trader label<<

I was generally aware of your background but as far as being labelled "just a short term trader", I don't associate this with anything negative. Let's face it -- what matters is not the style of trading or the how short term it is--but whether one makes money at it. For example, some one who I have developed a great deal of respect for is Patrick, who day trades the futures -- and is generally not in a trade for more than a few hours and rarely overnight--and he makes money doing this.

Besides, short, medium and long term are to some extent relative terms. I suspect that you would get a range of views on how this should be construed.

>>Since I believe in speaking my peace I had to let you know how I feel about your comments.<<

I am glad that you did--and I hope that this helps clarifies matters.
