You know, Crispin, it is really amazing. I found this discussion group yesterday, wrote a comment on a tiny and volatile stock most people have never heard of, and got a reply within hours, and an informed one too. This makes me happy - there are other venturers out there. I just collected my mail where I found about 2 lb. of info on Logic Devices - sent to me directly from them, upon my request and free of charge. You can write them too. It is going to take me time to read through this, but most news is very encouraging. I mean, look at their annual EPS growth - 1992 - 0.02/sh; 1993 - 0.06/sh; 1994 - 0.15/sh; and 1995 - 0.29/sh estimate, which they are going to beat. This is called persistence - in good times and bad. Looks like it was an undiscovered jewel until June '95. The company has made acquisitions (Star Semi.) which moved the price in mid spring. Now, they say, they have "starved" customers. This is good and bad, but better than no customers. The product line has quality, high performance, and peculiarity which should keep and attract customers. On the question of supply - it is bothering, but the comp. is too small to build a fab yet. Its market cap. is not even close to the price of a new semi fab! However, if you follow things closely, you will notice that big-time players like Intel are dumping Asian subcontractors and are building their oun fabs here or there. This should benefit us as the guys from Taiwan will look for any work, at lower prices! How about that? And look at Alliance Semiconductor - they don't have any plants either! I think Logic Devices is for real, and a good long-term call. Today is not going to be our day, because everybody's buying large semi. caps, but don't give up! I will look qlog up but haven't heard too much of it yet. Look up Vitronics (vtc) on the AMEX, price 2 5/8, my target is 10 in less than an year. I will open a page on it too. Good place to look - www.money.com.
Talk to you later!
