INFORMATION FROM VIVUS

I just got off the horn with NF. I'll post what was discussed to the best of my memory.

1)Our buddy Wilson will be on CNBC next Monday morning at 6:10 Eastern time. Kind of early but that's when CNBC does a regular CEO interview.

2)Vivus is not currently discussing a buy out. They feel that currently the share price is much too low to negotiate any "reasonable" buy out price. So a future buyout is eventually possible.

3)No word from the FDA yet but expects to hear from them no later than by months end.

4)A new PR firm is yet to be chosen (she had a 3pm meeting regarding this matter).

5)Discussed press releases to counter slanted negative publicity.
She will be working on it. I was told that the VA patients used in the study were already on successful injection therapy so the patients will certainly not do as well on MUSE. Vivus acknowledges that MUSE induced erections are generally not as rigid and long lasting as injections. The whole idea behind MUSE is to offer a local alternative for men who do not want to mess with needles and injections or men who are proned to prolonged erections when using injectables.

6)Vivus does feel that script data will now gradually increase and eventually surpass the old highs thanks to Viagra.

I hope this helped.
