Ram, I always like to remind people that Nightline with Ted Koppel was started solely as a short-term late-night summary of events regarding the Iranian hostage crisis. Had you shorted Nightline based on the limited nature of its intent, you would have obviously made the wrong call.

Y2K companies, like the early Nightline, are gaining notoriety. That's half the battle. The other half is keeping the audience. Believe me, there will be numerous opportunities for diversification for Y2K companies for a long time to come. Earnings growth may not be as explosive, but there will certainly be a steady flow of work. People who say otherwise can't see the forest through the trees.
