The schedule of use of Rdram by Intel is really dependent on the chipset rather than the processor. As I understand it, Katmai will use a standard slot 1 100 Mhz front side bus. This means it should be able to plug into an existing 440BX chipset (which doesn't use rdram.) Camino is the next slot 1 chipset and is supposed to support rdram. So the question is whether its schedule is also being moved forward. -- Alan
