MOT down >2$ after hours on BAAAAADDDDDDD Warning
In a statement issued after the close of
trading, Motorola said its second-quarter
results will be substantially below analysts'
estimates and could even translate into an
operating loss. According to First Call,
analysts had expected the company to earn
20 cents a share in the second quarter,
down from 44 cents a share a year ago.
