I love this, to paraphrase Vocaltec PR ...
"we might have some really big & important companies interested in our products but it is TOP secret, need-to-know. You understand, don't you." This is great, now that I know you are on "the short list with these secret interests, I feel much happier." "It is a shame that we must spend so much to get them to look at our great, unique and wonderful product, but that is the cost of our selling the best". I guess if you build a better mouse trap, they wont bust your door down.
How about this one, "We are the leader so everyone is taking shots at us." No, I think the market is ignoring Vocaltec. All you here today is references to Vocaltec being the company that started it all - sort of like the Radio Shack TRS80 of IP Telephony.
How about this one, "the analysts did not characterize our earnings report as "bad" after we explained to them how expensive it is to convince all the telchos how great are product is". Three straight quarters of basically flat growth when ip telephony has been in the headlines almost daily. No dividends, stock price is dropping and no prospects for the future that we are going to tell you about.
