I'm not saying the deal is "only" about DSL. I'm simply saying that if ALA wants to push the issue, they have the capital and the relationship with BEL via DIGI to make BEL an offer they can't refuse. IMO, BEL's initial price point of $70 per month for 640Kbps plus $200 for a modem plus $99 for installation is a non-starter here in Pittsburgh. ALA is big enough to help BEL make those numbers look a lot friendlier if they so desire. They may not care about squashing a gnat like WSTL, but they could.
