Giddy, MOT is finally doing what I have been expecting them to do for months and that is cutting jobs which also means aggressively cutting dead-end projects and expenses. This has been a political issue, as you would imagine, since many mid-level managers are affected as well. In the short run, it will be painful to some workers but with the strong US economy they should all be able to find jobs.

There are still a few top-notch "enabling visionaries" at MOT, such as Merle Gilmore, who should help with the restructuring plans.

It will be a while.
