Concur! I wish I had people as thorough as macker working for me. My company invests in high tech start ups every day. We are always looking for bright individuals to add to our ranks.
Macker, if you want to move to the Bay Area, I bet I could get you a job as a venture capitalist.
As far as giving every piece of information macker has to the thread, doesn't he do enough?! Some of you want to be spoon fed. Grow up, macker is not your mommy, he is (for almost all of us) an anonymous friend who we are lucky to have run into.
It takes time and determination to perform all of the DD that we are getting for free! Look at macker's profile, looks like he has a day job, doesn't it? That means he has other responsibilities too. If he isn't posting every 10 minutes, get over it. Haven't you noticed that when he does post, it's usually something pertinent?
There are other Rocketeers who do an excellent job babysitting when the main ones are away. If you don't read the DGIV thread, you should. You'll notice that over there, they joke around and seldom shine when they are not being handed every data point that the Rocketeers dig up. Notice that whenever something really meaningful comes up, they always share.
Patience, it will all pay off. I, for one, would appreciate it if those who are impatient and can't bear the thought of not reading a macker post every 5 minutes, would just CHILL OUT. Imagine what it would be like if all of our free info just dried up and went away. How would it be if you had to do all of your own DD? You'd probably lose a lot of money playing the pennys, right? If not, you don't need this group anyway. If their help is valuable, please thank them for it and stop wasting the rest of the threads time with whiny posts that don't add any value.
There are others with whom I speak on a regular basis who have helped out immensely too. They know who they are. As far as the rocketeers, this is one of the tightest groups I have ever seen investing together. Be thankful they include you. |
