Hi Robert, I am a pc person through and through, however I came across a fold out full color actual size color photo of the new PowerBook G3. It was in July 1998 issue of PUBLISH magazine. Bold headine..."It eats Pentium notebooks for Lunch" The money Apple must have spent on this ad tells me this product will be competitive with PC notebooks. It is advertised at $2,299. The ad simply is impressive. It did attract my attention. I still would not buy an Apple but Byte Magazines Bytemark Integer Index Scores show it out performs Compac's 266mmx approximately four times faster. Just some food food for thought John LoBianco
