Howz about sending some of that cool breeze down this way? A little precipitation would be welcome too. Much more of this and our homes might start falling into the cracks in the ground.

I feel for the birds. I'll bet we lost a whole generation of chicks due to the lack of rain. When it does finally rain, there won't be anything around to eat the insects.
