You just laid out five sound reasons for your investment in VVUS. If you apply this same methodology to all of your investments you will do fine. Most people have no idea why they are in a stock. Many of the johnny-come-latelys to VVUS most likely invested because they thought the shorts would get burned. Usually not a good reason to invest, and surely not as sound as your line of reasoning, despite the objections I may have about some of your points.
