Anthony - Re:"Wasn't the MMX technology licenced to AMD..." AMD licensed the MMX instruction set from Intel. They did not license the implementation. In fact, AMD did implement MMX quite differently than Intel. They used one of their Integer pipelines to also perfrom MMX instructions, instead of the Floating Point Pipe used by Intel. I have neither seen nor read any discussion about the AMD K6 MMX performance. Paul
