Steve, You may want to check the recent version of SmartMoney magazine (I belive that's what the magazine is called) They picked four stocks that one shouls own in their portfolio, Atmel was one of them. I don't believe Atmel is in the business of producing semiconductor manufacturing equipment (As Applied Material), rather they produce chips for various industries. The stock took a dive recently because the company announced a flat fourth quarter. I've heard nothing but bullish comments about Atmel. Regards, Mandeep
