InfoSPINman and Gall,

Thank you for causing many participants on this thread to examine several things: why we own SUF, why we care about real people, why we care about how justice happens, and why we care about truth. For those lurking (your real purpose is to reach the readers), I hope that a thorough reading from March on will provide a useful pattern to the two shill's posts.

For all the good/bad/ugly that has happened on this once relaxed thread (kudos to Vaughn and ValuePro for complete respect always),
the emotions have run high. Congrats!! Its likely that you get bonused on how agitated participants become. But what you've drawn out is the basic human decency in several posters. Not always has everyone been civil; certainly, with the share price at current levels, I again tip my hat; I've lost; you've won. But as long term shareholders you underestimate our resilience; in fact your efforts have spurred on much communication with all levels of government in both Canada and RSA.

Thank you for leading us to the political arena. If this is where we fight, fine, let's get at it. We are not shareholders of some bank or industrial concern. We are supportive, perhaps naive, but are becoming very activist. Not only do we want an equitable solution to the Marsfontein issue, but many of us are committed to the removal of De Beers from Canada (RSA has some nice resources, but Canada will be the source of much richer ores/oils/gases/etc. just because of our size). Our American friends (we don't always get along) have seen fit to boot your heinies out of USA. Many of SUF's money-losing shareholders will begin to apply whatever pressure possible to have the rest of your group sent back where you belong. We may lose the battle in RSA, but watch the action in the Northwest Territories (as an aside, can you guess which director of SUF staked Aber's claims at Diavik?). Perhaps you've heard of the new cutting facilities to be constructed in Yellowknife? What is a "sight"?

Maybe we're lazy. We've see all the injustice for decades in RSA and done little. Guilty. But now you've hit us in the pocket book, and well, many of us are mad. Ever seen a hockey game? Once a game seems one-sided, battles break out because that is how we answer defeat; if the referees do not quickly handle the situation, we know we may be out of line, but we'll give you a bloody nose and keep hitting for teeth; we are not soccer or baseball players by nature.
We'll sort it out later.

What seems very interesting to me is the very simple fact that neither of you ever answer accusations; you broadly re-hash old garbage and claim victory becaue the share price is lower. Is your contract short -term? Ours isn't. Have you been instructed to resist challenges to your employers, even when they are named? Why no defence of Mr. Oppenheimer, Van Eegen, Burne and the such? Quite obviously you've been handcuffed; else you'd have responded.

I note with some pride that InfoSPINman has chosen to include the new terms "lackey" and "handler" in his postings. Thank you for understanding our feelings for you. I hope your manager doesn't dock you for your lack of originality. These are appropriate terms that obviously hit home strongly enough that you felt comfortable to begin using them. (By the way, InfoSPINman, you have such better sentence structure and writing style that I believe you can't also be Gall; you have at least some sense of propriety, at least in regards to the written word -- in fact I admire your ability to chose a few words from a post and change the context quickly.)

How come neither of you have ever actually cited a source for your information? I don't mean silly capital letters like InfoSPINman's first post --- why don't you simply cause a link to the proper source like most others do? I assume that someone in your organisation can teach you this simple skill (I learned how!), so I'm forced to believe that all of your cited "facts" are simply typed in by you. Not surprising that George Burne of De Beers Canada refers questions to your posting. How circular.

What do expect will come out of the propaganda machine now that Mr. Burne has "interviewed" with the Financial Post guy? I wonder who bought the breakfast -- I think we can assume what will come of this.

Your knowledge of the Angolan situation bears investigation. How did you know so early?

Again, thank you for providing a written record of your motivations -- without your efforts, we may not have known what hit us! But we do. And now that we have a sense of your tactics and methods, well, some of us will do our damnedest to rebuke all of your Canadian efforts. Fair trade -- Marsfontein for Canada?

Have a good day, eh!
