yakov-- thats almost exactly what i thought. however, while there may not be any urgent need for LU and WSTL to merge, there may be factors of which we are unaware. until today i thought ALA was going after DSL hard core. after today, i have some serious doubts. i dont think they care too much about ADSL anymore, except as it relates to a driver for DIGIs products<G>. only time will tell, but i think the 'smart' money is wrong on the deal. ALA wants DLC business, for them i think ADSL is something they are backing away from. look at their deal with HAYZ. that means that they may be willing to set up a partnership with WSTL. LU buying WSTL could throw a real wrench in that plan. good luck to all, trey
