And the WWF license goes to ...

THQ? Midway? GTI? Who do we think makes the most sense? Since THQ already has the Nitro engine, a tradition of wrestling games, and the loss of its wrestling license only a few months before Acclaim's WWF license expires, it makes sense that it be THQ. However, it really depends how Farrell wants to spend the warchest.

I do think back to Vic's "Controversial" post though. It reminds me that if THQ truly wants the license it should be able to offer more than any competitor. This is due to already having the engine but perhaps more importantly, the bump in share price would allow THQ to have an easier time making acquisitions.
